The audiovisual live set is booming. So are the almost endless technological possibilities of creating AV sets and immense stage designs. Festival and concert experiences are expanded through transmedia storytelling across platforms and devices. Amidst all these developments the drive of musicians and image makers to create alternative and eccentric productions is what creates challenging visions.
On Friday October 20, FIBER invites a selection of artists and designers that will share their work and take on creating audiovisual identities. Using a variety of concepts and techniques these musicians, visual artists, filmmakers and designers express, strengthen or juxtapose the sonic space. What tools or media do they deploy to transmute complex and visceral narratives into artistic experiences? Expect short presentations and a Q&A with FIBER’s guests all taking place at our beloved venue Vlaams Cultuurhuis de Brakke Grond. This event is part of ADE Soundlab and starts at 12:00.
