First names on the line-up of FIBER Festival 2023 are released!
This year, FIBER Festival is returning for its 8th edition from 11 to 14 May at various locations in Amsterdam. The programme brings together a wide selection of art, electronic music and audiovisual performances that explore our rapidly transforming world through multi-sensory ways.
For its 2023 festival edition, FIBER explores the theme of Fragments.
Fragments invites you to reassemble a new understanding of our surroundings and identities, using different acts of listening, music, sound, sonic speculation, and magical worldbuilding as inspiring and critical media
We are happy to announce our first artists for this years’ festival edition:
ABADIR (Hybrid), LCY (DJ), Shoal & Orah present Terugblik (Live AV), Signal Transmutations (Spekki Webu & Matti Vilho) – (Live AV), Happy New Tears (DJ), Hüma Utku presents The Psychologist (Live AV), Mbodj (DJ), Monster (DJ), Assyouti (DJ), Teqmun (DJ), Perila (Live), Aleksandra Słyż, Alliyah Enyo (Live), Sean Cubitt (Lecture), Helen V. Pritchard (Lecture) and Jordan Edge (Lecture).
The festival will include an exhibition, symposium, a music, performances & club programme and the second iteration of the Audiovisual Art Assembly (AAA). All taking place across multiple locations in Amsterdam: from the majestic Concertgebouw, to the industrial Door Open Space, Noordwaards, Garage Noord, Oedipus Brewery and De Brakke Grond.
