FIBER is an Amsterdam based festival and platform that showcases contemporary digital culture, audiovisual art, speculative design and forward thinking music culture to enhance and diversify alternative worldviews. On 28, 29 and 30 October, FIBER 2021 takes place at Tolhuistuin and Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ.
We are calling for volunteers to help with the running of the upcoming event. Volunteers will have full access to the entire festival and to the closing crew meeting/drinks. Being a part of the FIBER volunteering team provides a great opportunity to meet and connect with like minded students and professionals that are in the arts and creative sector. On top of that it’s a solid educational experience to see how a festival is run, and the collaboration that it requires. FIBER will provide meals for your volunteering activities and reimbursement is possible for train costs based on NS discount cards (we cannot reimburse international travel and overnight stays).
We need help with the overall organisation and production, as well as giving us a hand with building it up/taking it down. There are five volunteering categories, which you can choose to take part of: Hosts, Production, Technical production, Catering and Drivers.
