Thursday 8 September it’s time for the first stop of our new Studio Visits series at the award winning international design studio Tellart. If you want to attend please be sure to apply through this application form: https://form.jotformeu.com/61782613775363

Starting in September 2016 FIBER will organise a new series of artistic expeditions into the studio spaces of artists and designers in- and around the Amsterdam area. The FIBER Studio Visits are informal meetings granting the audience a peek into the city’s often hidden spaces of creation. During these visits, research is presented, prototypes are showed, and tricks of the trade are shared. The audience has the room to ask questions and more importantly to connect the various creative communities and sectors embedded in the city. Each edition is free to join via RSVP, and we’ll make sure there will be cold drinks for everyone.

Studio Visits #1: TELLART

Tellart

On Thursday September 8th we’re visiting Tellart, an awardwinning international design studio that creates interactive objects, immersive spaces and digital experiences for brands, museums and multinational companies. Tellart was founded fifteen years ago, when data, electronics, and networks began to extend existing design palettes of metal, wood, glass, and plastics. New tools were required to transform these into meaningful experiences. Today, Tellart’s designers, engineers, and filmmakers drive ideas from concept to final execution. Their projects synthesize the digital and physical– they embody and embed data, networks, and sensors in beautifully crafted objects, art, and architecture, in the real world and in the hands of people.
