A quick and awesome update: DEFRAME – the Utrecht based audiovisual artist collective and FIBER members – will participate in this year’s international creative & digital art conference OFFF Mexico! Today (SAT 26/09) Bram Snijders and Carolien Teunisse will represent the collective and share their work, creative vision and process at the massive stage in a fully packed Auditorio Blackberry. Now that’s worth an ¡Arriba!.

OFFF MX is an annual gathering of internationally operating artists, designers and creative technologist in Mexico City. The festival emerged from the OFFF network and was launched in 2012 by the amazing team from Cocolab. The aim of the festival is to invite and present a wide variety of creators that inspire people by pushing the boundries of art & technology. FIBER was honoured to particpate in 2013. This year DEFRAME was invited to cross the Atlantic and conquer the auditorium and workshop programme (an introduction to vvvv & 3D visuals).
Alongside DEFRAME are other great speakers like Abstract Birds, Alpha-Ville, Field, Jürg Lehni, OFFF Founder Hector Ayuso and FIBER’s partner Creative Applications all of whom will take the stage. What to expect? Check a selection of DEFRAME’s projects below.
